Cott’s sale of $1.1 billion traditional beverage manufacturing business is approved and first quarter revenue up

The sale of Cott’s soft drink and juice bottling business sets them apart from the competition. Jerry Fowden, Cott’s Chief Executive Officer explained, “In addition to our continuing revenue and EBITDA growth, we closed on the sale of our traditional business, which reduced our debt by around $1 billion.” Now, Cott is entirely focused on the better-for-you category of water, coffee and tea manufacturing and route based services. First quarter highlights show Cott as a volume-based leader in the U.S. and Europe for home and office water delivery services.
